My first year of university in 2007 I had a slow onset of CFS. Before then I was a very healthy and active person, but at the time I was reduced to a life of being home bound. My main symptoms were, a sore throat and extreme fatigue. While I was ill with CFS I tried many things such as, antibiotic protocols, elimination diets, and took an army of supplements. I was convinced it was some bug that my body could not get rid of. At the start of 2009 I was thinking about taking a course of valcyte when I found the Gupta Program. I decided to try it instead of the valcyte, and it was the best decision of my life.

Within 5 months I have made a FULL RECOVERY! I am spending 4-5 hours per week in the gym lifting weights. I have put on all the muscle I had lost over the last 2 years. My flu symptoms are gone, and I have regained my previous hyper active levels of energy. I have also gone back to a very stressfull job and I am coping fine. Basically, my life has been turned around.

Thank you so much Ashok!

Dear Ashok,
I began the retraining programme about 2 months ago. Within three weeks of receiving the package and working hard at the programme, I went on holiday! In fact I left Australia, had a few days in Hong Kong and then flew on to the UK!. I had a three week driving tour of England and Scotland which meant lots of driving and new and exciting adventures. During the four weeks away I had only one 'dip'. I realized quickly that I had neglected doing the re-training as I'd forgotten I'd had M.E.!

I was in the London last week but only close to your office on a Sunday. I had wanted to come in and shake your hand - nay - give you a big hug to say THANK YOU so much. FINALLY after 16 years of the roller coaster of this awful illness I can say - I'm just about there in bidding it s'long and good riddance. In my heart I knew the illness was, as I called it, a chemical surge but I couldn't discover exactly what was going on. I cannot say loud enough, enthusiastically enough how happy I am to have learnt of your programme.

I am also grateful for your follow up email as it answered my question that, I had indeed, got complacent, neglecting the re-training. I have since learnt, even when feeling 100%, I am to keep on with the re-training. So, back on track, back in Australia and feeling BRILLIANT!

I wish you much health, happiness and success in your own life - you deserve it. And, once again, thank you Ashok.

Warmest wishes to you

I was diagnosed with ME and Fibromyalgia in 2002. At the time I was busy with a Counselling Practice as well as teaching Counselling, Clinical Theology and other courses; I was chair of a Division of the British Assoc for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I was doing a degree with the Open University. Just before I became really ill, my sister died from cancer. Everything together caused my body to rebel and say ’enough!’ I had to give up all my work and my studies.
I was in pain from the roots of my hair to my toenails, and when I woke in the morning I felt as though I had been run over by a truck, beat beaten up and had a dose of the flu’. I felt exhausted and my energy would suddenly disappear with the result that I would be drained physically, mentally and emotionally. I had difficulty sleeping even though I was tired out. My metabolism slowed down, the thyroid and adrenals were affected, and so on. I found it hard to think (which was especially hard as I was studying philosophy), my speech began to slur at times and I couldn’t find the words that I wanted to say. My writing deteriorated and sometimes became jumbled and my spelling ability vanished. It was horrible. The losses felt enormous.

That is until last October when I began the Gupta Programme.

Three days after starting the programme I went to Kew Gardens where I walked all day (on other trips to gardens or shows I had hired a buggy so that I could get around).  I only started to feel tired in the late afternoon; I felt normal tiredness which was so different to the awful draining that I was accustomed to. Since then I have had been free from pain and have not needed to use a walking stick. Over the next few months my sleep patterns improved and so did my brain fog and cognition.

The first dip that I experienced after starting the programme was quite difficult to deal with until I realised that if I just began again it should work. It did. Stress is the fastest trigger of symptoms, but now I know that the effects will be minimal compared to the wipe out that I previously experienced.

Now I have my life back. I have lots of energy, within the limitations of my age which, although I am 60, feels about 45 rather than the 95 years that I felt before. I keep rejoicing in the very noticeable change in my body, mind and emotions. Even my eyes have improved!

The programme is simple. I still do it when I need to, and I keep up with meditation and relaxation. I recognise when the stress response centre is over reacting or likely to kick out the chemicals or signals that caused symptoms. The advantage of the Gupta Programme is that I have it as a permanent resource to turn to when I need it. It has been a miracle for me.

I had a great holiday this summer where I climbed a mount in Wales, went body boarding and took long walks. I have great fun with my little grandchildren. I am really enjoying life. Thank you Ashok!

My name is Jyoti and I am a 34 year old yoga teacher from Winchester, Hampshire.
I wanted to convey what a relief it is at last to have found a cure to cfs. I have had symptoms of chronic tiredness, blood sugar problems leading to dizziness, nausea and mood swings as well as general body aches and pains and IBS from the age of 16 (that's now 18 years ago) when I contracted glandular fever during a very stressful period in my family life. I struggled for years with these symptoms, and would visit 5 different GPs during this time who all prescribed anti-depressants which did nothing to help me.

Jyoti

Eventually found a GP who looked into my health problems and eventually concluded a CFS diagnosis. that was 2 years ago, and for a year I tried all sorts of treatments and therapies which calmed my symptoms but certainly did not cure them.
In april this year I started Ashok's technique...thank you Ashok, you have saved and changed my life completely.
Up until starting the training, I was premanently exhausted, feeling nauseaus and dizzy all the time. I had to rest at home most of the day and it was a real struggle to drive to teach a yoga class 8 miles away ( driving made me feel terrible). I was so miserable with feeling ill all the time, I saw friends less and less and felt I was just existing rather than LIVING.
Since doing the training (for 8 months now), nearly all symptoms have gone and I wake up feeling refreshed from sleep (for the first time in 18 years!)
I am so relieved to no longer live my life dictated to me by my cfs symptoms....I have my life back and walk in my local wood every morning for one hour! In the past I had to restrict how much I taught yoga as it left me exhausted, I now can teach 7 classes a week!! I am now back in touch with friends and socialising, dancing and cooking are my hobbies ( all hobbies were out of the question before doing the training).
I would be happy to talk to any cfs sufferers who are not sure or not convinced this technique can help them,
I was very sceptical too, since my diagnosis I had tried 40 different types of therapy and was close to loosing all hope of finding a cure. With a lot of doubt and anxiety I started this training.  However,  the dvds are so simple to use and the information so clear, my mind was put at ease immediately and quickly my confidence in this technique grew and grew as I got better and better.
We all deserve the gift of GOOD Health, so please start your healing process by beginning the Amygdala Retraining Technique.

Best Wishes Jyoti

Hi,

At the end of February after having severe CFS/ME for 10years most of the time in bed at times unable to go down stairs and requiring help to get to the bathroom I
started your recovery program. Within 1 week of starting the program I was no longer spending the day in bed, six months later and I am better living a completely normal life.

I can now watch the TV, have family and friends to visit, do my garden, go camping and walking in the peak district and the lakes life is wonderful.
Thank you so much for giving me my life back.

Regards

JM

Hi I am 47 and have had ME since around Jan 2004. It all started in June 2003 when I was going through a really stressful, but enjoyable time at work and whilst visiting Delhi I got gastroenteritis. I remember getting over this but then just "not feeling right" for weeks afterwards, and I remember saying to people at work it felt as if something in my brain hadn't switched off from fighting the virus. I started going home from work early and just collapsing on the settee, then I started taking days off, which I had never done. I also started to lose my concentration and had loads of other weird symptoms. It got worse and worse and in Feb. 2004 I had got so ill I couldn't get out of bed, even breathing seemed to be too much at times. That is when I was diagnosed with ME having previously been diagnosed with PVFS and having had all other illnesses ruled out. I have been too ill to work since then.
I came across Ashok's programme and signed up for the free sessions. After the first few I was so excited, it was as if he was talking about me, and his explanation as to why you can sometimes feel well again was like a breath of fresh air and also the first time I had come across someone saying this ( I must admit to beating myself up at times, no
wonder people don't believe you are ill if you cant understand why you can sometimes appear well, was it all in my head after all, but then as quickly telling myself it wasn't as I knew it was real, but how come this happens). I bought the programme and again was amazed at how he was describing exactly how I felt. After a week I was already seeing the results and not having to apply the techniques so often. I am now doing more than I ever thought I would ever do again and it is so exciting. I had forgotten how my body used to feel before I got ME, no more waking up with the feeling that there is lead running through my body, I have my life back and I am living it and the best thing I have a future to plan. I power walked up a hill the other day and was out of breath, not fatigued, it felt great. I was shouting at the top of my voice, life is great, well inside my
head I was, I am sure I got an endorphin rush. I do notice I have the personality trait that Ashok talks about so I keep reminding myself, when I get a bit complacent, that your body takes time to adjust ,a bit like when you start going to the gym, you can't actually see your fitness getting better, but at the same time you know you can't just go for a week and then think, done that so I must be fit now, it takes months. I tell myself to give it the 6 months so I am one of the people who has the best recovery. I keep going around giggling to myself or just with a big smile on my face, I feel great.  Give it a go, what's 6 months of dedication if you get the rest of your life back.

Hi,
I started this programme about seven months ago and I can report that I have improved significantly since. I’m not 100% better (I still have some minor symptoms sometimes), but I feel like I’m *almost* 100% cured. By this, I mean that I feel that within perhaps another six months I’ll be 100% better, based on how things are progressing right now. I would recommend this programme to anyone with ME. I am so happy that I found it!

Basically, here is my experience of ME. I’ll try to make this as short as possible.

About seven years ago, I went to a nightclub one evening, and the next morning I woke up with the world’s worst hangover. It felt like I’d woken up on another planet! And this hangover just never went away. In fact, it gradually got worse over time. To cut a long story short, several months later I had to quit college and basically stop going out full stop, and I went to the doctor in desperation. I was told I had ME, and that there was no cure.

My symptoms were:
• Overwhelming fatigue, at all times.
• A feeling of being “distant” from everything in the world, as if I was in a dream and nothing was real.
• A very significant inability to think clearly, especially with regard to reading
(i.e., “mental fog”).
• Strong depression and anxiety, and a feeling of just not caring about anything anymore (friends, obligations, etc.).
• Insomnia — so bad that at one point I had no sleeping routine, and I would be waking up and going to sleep at pretty much any time of the day.
• All symptoms worsening after eating (especially with particular foods).
• Occasionally, vomiting and diarrhoea after eating a particular food.

(There must have been more, but I can’t remember.)

I continued to get worse and worse, until I got to a point where I was housebound most days (for about a year). At that time I just kind of accepted that I was unwell and there was nothing I could do about it (previously I’d been desperately looking for a cure, trying everything, to no avail), and after that I seemed to get a little bit better (but not a huge amount), and was able to get out a little bit more.

Then at one point years later I got into reading again (although this was tough with the mental fog), and one day I stumbled upon a book called “Fear: The Friend of Exceptional People” by Geoff Thompson, and it piqued my interest since it was a book about overcoming fear, written by a guy who had been a nightclub doorman for several years. After following the advice of this book about overcoming particular fears, I found that actually I started to feel a lot better on the whole, to my surprise.

Then several months later I found the Gupta Programme (from an advert in an ME charity magazine) and it all clicked into place. At that point I realised that the advice of the book and the Gupta Programme were fundamentally quite similar, except that the Gupta Programme of course was ME-specific. So, basically, I’d already been doing some amygdala retraining, but in a slightly different way. But now that I had started the Gupta Programme, I went on to improve a lot more, and eventually I got to where I am today, which is where I feel that I’m almost cured of ME.
I go out every single day now, and I actually have a life again. I’m still not back to work, but I’m looking to try it at some point soon. I still seem to have minor reactions to some foods, but they are also lessening, and for the first time since coming down with ME, I’m not really very bothered about them. I suppose what I’m doing now is just gradually expanding myself one step at a time.

I suppose what I’m doing now is just gradually expanding myself one step at a time.

Just writing this now, I’m surprised how far I’ve come actually, because the improvement has been so gradual that it’s been quite hard to notice it, as weird as that sounds! I guess it’s kind of like how I gradually got worse over time with ME, and before I knew it I was housebound — only, in reverse! It’s odd writing this really, thinking about how bad my symptoms used to be, because now I’ve just kind of got used to feeling better in general, and I expect *not* to feel awful if I go out, or do whatever. Anyway, I’m rambling on now!

In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Gupta Programme highly enough. I shudder when I remember how bad I used to be, and to be honest it was hard for me to write this. Just thinking back over the past seven years makes me want to cry it was so bad, and so I really feel for the others. It’s almost something you never want to think about again. If anyone reading this is in that awful situation right now, I hope I’m able to convey to you that ME is not necessarily permanent.

Thanks for reading,
Tom

I’ve been doing this program for just over 4 months. When I started, I had been totally bed bound with a severe CFS “relapse” for 6 months. I was too weak to lift utensils to feed myself, or get to the bathroom, and had to use a bedside commode. Talking was exhausting. I had aching glands for months, but my doctors couldn’t find any “active” viruses. Whenever I tried to increase my activity level I seemed to feel even weaker, with standard post-exertional malaise, totally out of proportion to the movement.

I think this program is phenomenal, and I wish I had found it before my muscles became so severely de-conditioned from inactivity. But even with starting where I did, and only able to implement parts of the program, I am doing much better. Within a week of starting it, I could feed myself. I still need wheelchair help to get around, and frankly need help with a lot of things still…BUT… I can sit up at the table for meals, get wheeled to the bathroom, change myself, walk short distances, go for almost daily car rides, and I can actually type this post, which several months ago, was impossible. Plus, I now feel that CFS–as I had understood it– really isn’t the issue anymore. I see now that subconscious/amygdalar fear and anxiety has played a huge role in keeping me ill for many years, now compounded by a de-conditioned body. But, I feel very optimistic at this point. Since I’ve improved so much already, I see no reason that this won’t continue until I’m stronger than before. So, I highlyrecommend the Gupta Programme. Out of all of the many, many treatments I’ve tried, it’s the only thing that has had any significant impact.

Hi
It seems unbelievable that 3 months have passed since my first review here. You may remember one of my future life dreams was to walk in the country - well from having to sleep the day away from 9am until 3pm between school runs, this is now the time i take my country walk. I began to walk just short distances for maybe five to ten minutes and i soon found the leg pain and exhaustion i had suffered from while walking just wasnt happening. At present i am walking up to 3 hours a day - this doesnt include things like chores, dressing etc, this is leisure activity i am talking about. what i find quite amusing is the fact my kids are complaining before i do about getting tired…
I have a routine where first thing in the morning i wake, put my ear phones on and i listen to the Gupta Prog cd thru a walkman. I find dong this starts the day on a positive note and keeps my mind focused.
Last thing at night when the house is quiet, the walkman is put into use again - i cant tell you how much this has affected my sleep patterns. For the first time in many years im actually sleeping all night, no waking in pain, no sleep disturbance. I wake in the morning feeling rested and ready for the day. The muscle pain has completely gone, thankfully. Leg pain was one of the daily problems for me that i found unbearable and to now be without it is just brilliant.
This past week has been a telling week as we had a couple of family emergencies. I have to confess this knocked me sideways and i started to feel tired again. I have had to look after my mother after a hospital emergency for the past 7 days, i have cooked her meals twice a day, stayed with her during the day to make sure she was well. I found this manageable whereas 4 months ago this would really have been out of the question. It hasnt been problem free tho, i found my heart racing a couple of times and had one panic attack - im not focussing too much on those incidents as i know they can be a normal reaction to finding out your mother has been rushed to hospital.

As i type this i just realised my eyes have been much better, i havent had as many problems with light intolerance, blurred vision or my right eye twitching(this is one thing id be really embarrassed about, it made me feel so low in public when my eye constantly twitched when i got exhausted)

I too suffered chemical intolerance as mentioned here, i cant recall reacting to anything much in this past couple of months. In fact, i bought a harpic toilet block this week which hasnt affected me at all. This would have had me clinging to my bed not so long ago. I used nail varnish remover recently which didnt affect me, carpet cleaning mousse also gave no reaction. These are all chemicals which would most definately have made me dizzy, foggy headed and generally ill.

Im also finding foods i had intolerances to are being introduced back into my diet with no bloating or bad reactions.

My brain fog isnt cured completely but i have been suffering less with it. i still have times where for the life of me i cannot get my words out but for the most part, it is much improved. I felt pretty spaced out for a couple of days last week but on the whole, the fog has continued to lift a little more each week.

All in all, i dont feel ill anymore. I do still have m.e but it isnt something i think about. It used to hit me in the face every waking moment with the long list of symptoms i suffered - now i often completely forget about it because there are only symptoms of tiredness at the end of the day - which to be fair is normal considering the amount of energy im using daily.

There are many other examples i could share to validate that the Gupta Prog is working for me but it would take me a week. I dont have any doubts about the Prog working for me - my life is amazing now compared to when i started this in may.

What is important to remember is the fact the Gupta Prog is relatively new and saying `find me someone who has been cured` is maybe a touch premature. I will come back here in a while and give an update as others will no doubt do and hopefully the updates in one year will be that we are all fit and well.

In my first review i said every sufferer should have access to the Gupta Prog and 3 months later i still stand by that. Its the best thing thats happened to me in a long long time and i am so thankful to my friend for sending me the Gupta website link.

Best Wishes,

Emerald

I  joined the CFSFMEExperimental Yahoo group in April 2001, a few months after being diagnosed with CFS. I'd been ill a few years - a couple years mostly bedbound; a few years mostly housebound. At my brain's lowest point I couldn't read or understand people talking to me - word salad.

My illness had a gradual onset, over about 4 months, at a time of extreme ongoing stress. It was triggered by mercury poisoning, though that wasn't discovered for several years. I've since had the mercury taken out of my teeth (the source) and chelated from my system. That improved my cognitive function by about half, and was improving my body up to ~30% function. I was somewhat active in this group at that time, discussing mercury mostly.

I ran into trouble with the chelation eventually and wound up back in bed. All signs were that my heart had gone into congestive failure. My doctor suggested I see a cardiologist for treatment, but I didn't trust it would be useful so didn't go. It gradually started to improve after a couple years.

At that point I decided to try other possible routes out of the illness (non-AMA). I quit posting here and started looking into other alternatives. Someone here mentioned Donna Eden's book "Energy Medicine".

The book infuriated me the first time I looked at it, but I later decided to give it a try since nothing else was working. Over time, the techniques in that book helped me come up to ~40% function. Could walk maybe 500' on a good day. 3 days of gentle yoga would take 3-5 weeks to recover from.

Gupta - And then I heard about Gupta. After much googling, I came upon Cort's blog. I watched his progress for 3 months, then decided to try it.

I started doing the Gupta program about 5 weeks ago. At first it looked silly. And sounded worse.(You've got to be kidding. This is nuts.) Then I actually tried it. I was surprised at how powerful the words/motions felt...

It's been amazing. I no longer need the riding carts in the stores. I don't need my cane - which converts to a seat. (I can stand up!!!) I can think. I can cook (badly, since I'm out of practice, but that will change). I've been going to the local senior center for 2 weeks, riding the stationary bike there, and have joined a "stretch &
strengthen" class there. On days I don't bike, I'm walking - a little over a mile now.
No recovery time. !

I've gotten over the shock of this new world I'm suddenly living in, but still feel strange parking deliberately far away from wherever I'm going - and leaving my cane in the car.

In a quick scan of recent posts on the CFSFMExperimental Yahoo Chat group I noticed mention of meditation. FWIW, I put off trying his meditations for a while; was seeing radical shifts in my function before I ever did that. I like the meditation and am doing it, but do not credit it with the improvements I'm seeing. 6 weeks ago I was at ~40% function; today I'd guess it's ~85%. And rising.

Essentially, I no longer have CFS. Now I'm just a fat middle-aged lady who's way out of shape. But not for long.

This group has been focused on medical research. I appreciate all that I learned in the years I was active here. And it didn't give me my body/life back. Gupta's program has.

I believe this may be at the core of many auto-immune illnesses. The amygdala speaks directly to the hypothalamus, which controls the autonomic nervous system. We know the HPA axis is on tilt, and that the autonomic nervous system is bollixed.

We're not talking crazy, or depressed, or 'mental'. Think Pavlov's dogs. They're trained to salivate when the bell rings. How to you get them to stop salivating to the bell?

The main control switch has been stuck in the wrong position, thus creating all manner of chaos down the line. My opinion. My experience. For what it's worth.

My name is Ursula, I am a German living in Malta, centre of the Mediterranean, and I was suffering from CFS for four years. I am purposely using the past tense here.

I found Ashok's advert on the immunesupport web site last November, ordered the DVDs and started doing the retraining on 4th of January this year. So I'm just halfway through my six months period now. For me, the process has worked exactly the way Ashok announces on his web site. I'm not yet 100% better, maybe 80%. But I don't have the slightest doubt or worry the 100% will come.

Ok, I was maybe in an easier position than others after 4 years of illness I hadn't lost the memory of how life would be if I'm healthy, for instance. Also, I didn't have many complicating secondary health issues.

Up to now, what is required to recover from CFS by Ashok's DVD programme, is having the guts for an own judgment, an own opinion on things, plus the ability to trust. For me, Ashok's explanation is a breakthrough in the understanding of this kind of condition, and I see farther-reaching consequences of his discovery for other problems many people are facing, these days.

I'm leaving for a one-week bike trekking tour through Sicily, early tomorrow morning. To me, Ashok's method is the answer to the ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia problem. It's not just a therapy, this guy has made a discovery which reaches further. Only it will be a long way to have this accepted and fully explored, and made use of by the medical profession.

This cure is a true cure. It takes commitment, it takes belief, it takes much more than swallowing pills prescribed to you. I am largely better after 3 1/2 months now.

Ursula

The reason I’m here is to encourage anyone who is on the Gupta programme or those hesitating about starting it.
- I am nearly 62 started CFS Nov 2001 when working 4 days/week. Eventually stopped work.

- Went to nutritionist & like many of you tried various therapies – acupuncture, food allergy. A vega machine operator helped enormously & over time, I improved quite a lot to the point where I was gardening freely (i.e. not taking the timer out with me to stop me after 20 minutes because that was the limit I had built up to before resting for an hour or so)

In February 2003 I broke my leg quite badly and was on crutches for 3 months – my poor husband was back to doing everything for me again. Gradually I learnt to walk again and I felt fine – super Christmas and 2006 was great. In the autumn I resumed a distance learning course I had started, together with a local course to help the DL course and suddenly all those frightening symptoms returned … I was devastated and mentally completely depleted. The Vega machine didn’t do anything and I spent Nov, Dec, Jan in bed. Like many of you I had
- electro magnetic stress – hid the remote phones, limited computer use
- myriad of digestive disturbances – lots of pills
- usual head fog and appalling sleep patterns
- any outing followed by days in bed however well planned beforehand
- tried to prepare potatoes and other veg in snatches throughout the day so husband had less to cook at night on his return from work
As usual the garden helped and music, so I concentrated on those when I could and improved somewhat over the summer. I had heard of Ashok through the AfME mag and phoned him – and wondered whether to go to London. Still I hesitated. As autumn approached I almost feared November. Finally I took the plunge and bought the programme in November.

Because Ashok has had CFS he knows all the symptoms and feelings and it is all recognised in the programme. I felt improvement after 2 weeks – like a weight lifting. 2 weeks before Christmas my mother fell ill with that awful virus ……. I went (unthinkable before) plus the CD to listen to & tools to do. It was fine. I came back for the w/end and returned the following week (2 hour drive) and then it was Christmas which was wonderful. (I continuously used the tools)

- Jan 2008 – stopped all digestive pills – joined gym (2/3 x week)
- Feb – got lazy – symptoms more apparent – redoubled efforts on programme – fine again
- March – lots of gardening and walking
- April – walked 7 miles – felt fine
- May – husband retired.
- June – sailing in Turkey with friends!

Needless to say life throws up different/new situations and returning to normal life is a challenge in itself but with the tools and techniques it is all possible. Recovery is not linear but has dips to be recognised and not be frightened of. Whereas the challenge used to be to plan any outing with almost military precision – that has gone. I have just had the house full of friends and cooked for them all – unimaginable last year. Sorry this is so long
It is a remarkable programme full of helpful, constructive information. Try it!

"Today I have been on the Ashok Gupta Amygdala Retraining course for exactly 2 months and I am absolutely amazed at the progress I have made.
Let me tell you where I have come from - I have had CFS for over 20 years. Five years ago I was diagnosed for the first time, this was when my CFS became extremely severe and I changed to a doctor who actually knew something about it.

That 5 years was to be the worst 5 years of my life, for most of the time I was unable to do any jobs and I could walk no more than a hundred yards. On a bad day I would get up, have breakfast and then have to lie down and sleep for an hour or so. After lunch it would be the same story, lie down and sleep again and at the end of my day I would in bed by 9pm. On one such day I even had problems walking from the lounge to the toilet. I occasionally had a small recovery, it never lasted long and I would soon relapse - to push myself even a little would result in extra fatigue the next day.
Towards the end of that 5 years I got some help from mega doses of Vitamin C and injections of Vitamin B12, or sub-lingual B12 lozenges when my flesh got tired of the needle.

Then 2 months ago I started on the Gupta Program and I haven't looked back!
Now I never have to sleep during the day, I am alert and able to get on with my life. Both physically and mentally I have improved out of sight. I no longer take mega doses of Vitamin C and no B12 either. I have been able to start again with music, I have started to play keyboards again after a lapse of 12 or more years and have joined a group of like minded people who meet in each others homes to share music. I am back to socialising where earlier I had lost all my friends and aquaintances. I'm getting my life back!

Two days ago we had an emergency. My wife was doing the weekly wash when suddenly we found water gushing out under the laundry door and flooding the kitchen, there had been a problem with the washing machine outlet and it emptied the whole lot onto the floor, it got absolutely every where and into everything. We just had to get stuck in to clean up the mess, had to shift masses of stuff outside and I had to manhandle the washing machine so we could mop up underneath it - I worked my but off, my legs went like rubber but I kept on and an hour after we finished the job I was feeling not too bad again. I had a poor day yesterday (to be expected), but nothing like I would have had after such an event before I started Gupta and I am back on course again today!

I would say that I am at least 50% possibly 60% recovered - and this after only 2 months. If you any of you decide to give Gupta a go, and its cheap enough, you do have to work at it, its no good just paying it lip-service, you do need to do the work.

Some time ago I read the following about CFS - it was that CFS is caused by stress, made worse by stress and is perpetuated by stress. What the Gupta program does is to treat this problem of stress"

7/24/08 - Well I am still continuing to improve, not as quickly as the first two months but progress none the less.

I had one or two poor days some of which were due to becoming complacent about using the program, which is a mistake, but also due to severe stress caused by an unrelated health issue. To balance that I've also had a few days where I felt that I didn't have CFS anymore, I just felt like a somewhat unfit 74 year old, which is what I am.

Having said that I have to say that my life is dramatically different from 3 months ago - there just isn't any comparison. I am working hard on my music, did you hear that? WORKING HARD! I haven't done that for over 12 years! If I were not to get any better from this point I would be content that the program has done a good job but I feel there I am going to keep on improving. I seriously recommend this program.

Hi, my names Hannah Baxter and I had CFS after catching Epstein Barr virus from my parents when I was about 26. I’m 29 now and my mum, dad and I have all been recovering for 3 and a half years. I haven’t worked since that time (I was a music teacher), and the illness was aggravated by many factors along the way. For example, I moved from Chelmsford to Colchester, had a horrible

time with a few friends who couldn’t cope with me being so ill and work were not understanding at all. I also had to appeal on two separate occasions for incapacity benefit. I was housebound completely for a few months and virtually housebound for a couple of years (ie going out for 20 minutes or half an hour at the most each day).

Although controlling my diet and yoga were other things that I tried that helped a lot, the Gupta Amygdala Retraining Programme really kicked me into gear. I found it very encouraging and interesting to working with the DVD programme, and Ashok Gupta thinks of great ways to get the participant involved with their own recovery. At first, I was anxious for a couple of days and found it confusing using the techniques. I thought ‘Oh god, it’s easier to be ill than do this’ and that’s when the penny dropped. The  techniques were even easier than doing the yoga or changing my diet, and over time I’m realising how much I was letting my amygdale ‘run riot’. Its amazing how quickly my head began to feel clearer and I was more conscious about controlling my fears.

My only regret is that I didn’t find out about the programme sooner! I’ve made an agreement with myself not to stop the techniques or the meditation after 6 months. I’m just going to continue using them indefinitely until I feel I don’t need them anymore, and I’m not bothered about how long that will be. I’ve also joined a meditation group (the first activity I’ve done with other people for over 3 years!) and have met some lovely people there. I had no idea how important ‘exercising’ the mind was. I thought meditation was similar to yoga but I was wrong.  That has made a massive contribution to clearing and calming my mind, and in turn my symptoms.

I think Ashok has really hit on some amazing ideas about PVF, ME and CFS. I hope he goes from Strength to strength with the work he is doing!

Dear Ashok,

Words cannot thank you enough for this treatment, I have been on it now for 2 months and cannot believe what I have achieved in terms of going out and how I actually feel.  I have had CFS for 12 months, and been housebound for 9 months.  After only 5 days I went to a funeral and after 2 weeks I attended a wedding, there is no way I could have gone to these things before I started the program.  I keep a list of all the things I am now able to do and it is getting quite long now.  I feel I am completely on track for a full recovery after 6 months.  A friend of mine also bought the program and she has had CFS for 13 years and she too is improving.

My sister has CFS also, so I hope to be ordering another program in the near future.

So, thank you very very much, I look forward to a life of wellness again, but a life much changed for the better as well.

Kind Regards,

CD

I’ve been following the programme now for 4 months. It hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure! My progress was up and down for a long time, but over the last month, it all sort of clicked into place and I really feel as though I don’t have ME anymore. It will probably take a while for the physical side of things to catch up, my muscles are still weak etc. but altogether I feel like a new person. I feel as though I’ve shed the horror of ME and it’s just a matter of going forwards now to full health.

I can recommend this to all ME sufferers. It’s relatively inexpensive although it means a great deal of commitment and ‘work’. (I decided to make it my job of work for the time being and disciplined myself to do it everyday), but the payoff is tremendous.

Dear Ashok,

I received my copy of the Gupta programme on 15th December 2007. Within 2 days of starting the amygdala retraining, I began to have more energy. I had my best Christmas and New Year for 6 years and it was fantastic to be able to go round the sales with my sister and mum. Last year I was only able to travel to Yorkshire once to see my parents, and when I arrived it took me the week that I was there to recover enough to drive back. Last weekend I drove to their house on Friday, had a lovely day with them on Saturday, and came back to Cumbria on Sunday without feeling any ill effects.

Everyone that knows me well has noticed how much I have improved. 2007 was a really difficult year as I had slipped backwards, and was losing hope of ever recovering.

Having spent, and in many cases wasted,  my savings, searching for the illusive 'cure' for M.E, I was drawn to your programme in the first place mainly because I felt that someone who was prepared to offer a money back guarantee must have faith in what he was offering. From the very first programme, I felt that the programme was going to work for
me. It was as if you were talking directly to me. Everyhing you were saying was making sense, and your explanation of M.E fitted perfectly with my symptoms.

You have become a part of the family. I watch one of your sessions every 2 or 3 times a week, and use the audio CD every day. The book is also a very useful resource and its pages are covered in coloured highlighting pens - no way will you be getting my materials back.

I wish I had heard of your programme earlier and I cannot express the depth of my gratitude to you; for the years you spent researching M.E; and for the wonderful programme that resulted from that research. Having witnessed my improvement, my brother-in-law and sister have both recommended the programme to friends/colleagues who have M.E. and I will spread the word too.

I have been following the programme for a month now and am slowly learning how to live as a 'well' person again. It feels very strange at times, and I am not rushing things. My aim is to be able to return to some form of part-time work in January 2009, but I will never return to teaching. I was a very driven person and I have been paying the price for the last six years. Now I appreciate that there is more to life, and I will make sure that I never get back on the hamster wheel that helped wreck my health.

My six months on the programme will be up near my 49th birthday. I can't wait to see how much better I will be then. I am hoping that my M.E a closed chapter in my life. On that day, we will all raise our glasses to you, Ashok, for giving me the tools to get my life back.

I will keep you updated about my progress

Thanks a million

Warmest regards

HJ

Dear Ashok

I have been meaning to respond for some time re your Amygdala Retraining  Programme.  I have tried many things over the past 37 years with varying results but  none have  given me the benefits of your programme. From being a –stay- at –home- in –bed- person I now have a life where I can do things for myself shopping ,using the computer. Yoga and Tai Chi classes ,out walking, eating proper food(almost) , out driving on the motorway to otherwise unexplored  places etc. etc.  Now 20 weeks into the programme I am just about to book my flight to Australia   (travelling out alone)  for my son’s wedding next  January when I will also celebrate my 6oth birthday.

I don’t take anything for granted and heed your every word on the programme. I have found that if I am “stuck” the answer is there somewhere.  It can be hard sometimes but I am getting there. Thank you for helping me get my life back.

With best wishes

I have been suffering from CFS for the past 15 years.
Over that time I have tried every know treatment I could find to assist in recovery. Nothing seemed to work.
I was convinced I had a food intolerance to amines, Salicylates, etc. and changed my diet dramatically until there was almost nothing to eat and yet the symptoms continued.
What I found was everyone was focused on the symptoms and not on the cause of the problem.

Late last year after 6 consecutive months in bed with CFS I told my wife that the symptoms always follow a cycle and there seemed to be an adrenaline rush at the start of a new cycle. She goggled adrenaline and found Dr. Ashok Gupta's website; http://www.guptaprogramme.com/
What impressed me about Ashok was he was focused on the cause of the problem and offered a program to cure to the symptoms.

He sent me the first 2 sessions of the program to view online and it made sense to me. The cause had nothing to do with diet, but rather the over stimulation of the 'Amygdala', which controls the fear response in our subconscious mind.
I changed my diet immediately and found no worsening of my condition.
(This really helped out at Christmas time.)

I ordered the program which is a series of DVD's and manual of mind exercisers to retrain the response of the subconscious mind to negative thoughts and feelings. The costs of the program was about $200 and I received the package in the week prior to Christmas 2008.

It was slow to start, as I was anticipating a quick recovery (more to do with my personality), but after a month, my symptoms gradually weakened and I had my first full week out of bed. The past three weeks have been remarkable. I am now back working again, trying not to overdo it too much, but living a normal life.
The symptoms are still there, but getting less and less every day.
It has now been 3 weeks since I have had to lied down from exhaustion.
The 'foggy head' is gone, but I still feel a little tied from time to time, hot flashes and irritable bowl, but not near the intensity of the past.

Ashok advises it is a six month program and not to expect too much at the beginning, but it will work.
I am excited to say my wife and I are amazed at the results so far and everyone who has met me in the past month has commented on just how well I look. Whilst it is still early days yet I am totally convinced Ashok's program is right on the money and should be broadcast to all sufferers of CFS.

My best wishes to all,

Dear Ashok.

I contracted cfs in January 08 and soon descended into the black hole of pain, disability and desperation. At worst I felt that a sudden demise would be welcome.
This is just a short message to leave with you my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for what has been a renewal of the good life for me and my family. This cure was attained with the aid of your excellent dvd package which I followed to the letter and subsequently enjoyed the slow but sure return to the wellness I am enjoying  now. It began with a medical diagnosis by my GP and has just recently been certified as clear by a consultant physician in the city here just twelve months later.
I maintained a daily diary of my experience from day one and also drafted a severity table for all of my declining 24 symptoms. As a  result it has been my pleasure to recommend your course to three other sufferers who I am told have derived benefit also.

Yours with gratitude

I had CFS/ME for 14 years and since November 1st when I committed myself to your Programme am completely free of it!! As I meet up with family, friends or just people in the street, they want to know what has happened to me?  It is really wonderful as people are so happy for me. Have said I won't do too much extra until 1st May - the six months - but everything in running house, garden and church things and etc etc is fine already.

Thank you, thank you Ashok

Blessings - peace

I have had symptoms of mild chronic fatigue since I was 17 years old. However, it wasn't until I had been teaching for a few years that at the age of 31 I was unable to get out of bed at all. From that day began my dedicated journey to recover full health. I was not willing to accept that having low energy and all the associated unpleasant symptoms like candida, IBS, food intolerances was to be an everyday part of my life. Over the years I have read widely and tried many treatments and therapies and some of them helped me to sustain a 60-70% level of energy. However, there were still relapses. It wasn't until I found the Gupta Programme that I was able to piece all my experience together and get my energy up to 95% and deal very quickly with any dips. A part of me wishes I'd found the Gupta Programme at the age of 17 and another part of me celebrates that through my journey I am now able to coach others back to health quickly and efficiently. I am so happy that people now have a total programme to use for themselves, that's under their control and with Ashok Gupta and his Coaches there to support them.
